The Lake Classic rooms sit on the first floor of the 1911 villa, where the ceilings are high and the floors are the original terrazzo. Tall shutters fold back to a stone balcony just wide enough for two chairs and a pot of coffee.
Afternoons first
The room faces west across the water, so the afternoon light comes in long and gold. Blackout linen curtains are there when you want the dark; most guests leave them open.
A walk-in shower in grey Moltrasio stone, a writing desk at the window and a wardrobe deep enough for a long stay. Breakfast can come to the balcony until 11.
